January Introduction To Social Media Marketing In Lanzarote

We used the Hotel San Antonio in Puerto del Carmen as our venue, and welcomed nearly 30 people to the two sessions. There were plenty of questions, and lots of interesting banter, and as always plenty of business networking after the event.

Social Media Marketing Lanzarote

The “big tip of the day” that we shared was the Google Alert service. If you have a Google account (you can set one up free) you can receive a daily email linking you to any posts around the web mentioning your business name. Or any set of key words you choose. It’s a fantastic way to stay in touch with what is being said about your brand or business on the web. And rest assured, people ARE talking.

It was good to hear back from some of the people who attended:

Lynsey and Silvia from Lanzarote Business Association - “Really interesting and informative” (from Facebook)

Marlene from Top Catz Dance“….very informative and helpful…….well worth it!” (from Disqus blog comments)

Tracy from Credit Crunch Cookery - “Really enjoyed it, going to have ago at Twitter.” (from Facebook)

Adam from Active Adventures - “Great morning. I love being around inspired and inspiring people…….” (from email)

Lisa from from Flutterby Wellness “Thanks. I learnt so much this evening..” (from Twitter)

Wendy from Nude Lanza“….I learned a lot…..” (from Facebook)

Debbie from Restaurante Verde Mar - “What an amazing, mind blowing seminar…..so glad I took the time out…..” (from Facebook)

Geraldine from Bitacora apartments“…very informative! Learned loads…….look forward to the follow up” (from Facebook)

Steven from Lanzarote1.com“Great seminar....thanks again for the useful tips......” (from Twitter)

There has been a flurry on online activity on Twitter, Facebook and You Tube since the session, and I’m looking forward to more!
